GoUp Digital Marketing Agency (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates GoWap, a SaaS platform that enables agencies and marketers to generate and deliver Meta Ads performance reports to their clients via WhatsApp and email.
GoWap is an independent software service and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information in connection with our services.
2. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to:
Users who create a GoWap account
Organizations connecting Meta Ads accounts
Client contact information stored for report delivery
It does not apply to data collected directly by Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp under their respective policies.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We follow a strict data minimization principle and collect only data necessary to operate our reporting service.
3.1 ACCOUNT INFORMATION
When registering an account, we collect:
Name
Email address
Organization name
Role within organization
Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
3.2 META ADVERTISING DATA (VIA OAUTH AUTHORIZATION)
When a user connects their Meta Ads account through OAuth authorization, GoWap accesses advertising performance data available through the Meta Marketing API.
This may include:
Ad Account identifiers
Campaign names
Ad Set names
Advertising performance metrics
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) selected by the user within the application
GoWap supports multiple advertising performance metrics. Users may choose which KPIs they want to include in their reports. We access only business-level advertising performance data required for generating those reports.
We do NOT access:
Personal Facebook user data
Audience personal data
Customer lists
Messages
Profile information
Sensitive personal information
We strictly access advertising performance metrics only.
3.3 CLIENT CONTACT INFORMATION
Organizations may store client information for report delivery:
Client name
WhatsApp number
Email address
Timezone
Consent timestamp
The organization is responsible for obtaining valid consent before adding any WhatsApp number.
3.4 TECHNICAL & LOG DATA
We collect limited technical data for security and operational monitoring:
Login timestamps
Report generation status
Delivery status (sent, delivered, failed, read)
Error logs
API request identifiers
Logs are retained only for operational reliability and security purposes.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use collected information strictly to:
Connect to Meta Ads accounts
Fetch advertising performance metrics
Generate customizable advertising performance reports based on user-selected KPIs
Deliver reports via WhatsApp or email

5. WHATSAPP MESSAGING POLICY
GoWap uses the WhatsApp Cloud API to send transactional advertising performance reports only.
We do not send:
Promotional content
Marketing campaigns
Bulk advertisements
Unsolicited messages
Recipients may withdraw consent by:
Contacting the organization that added their number
Requesting removal
Contacting GoUp Digital Marketing Agency support
6. LEGAL BASIS (DPDP ACT – INDIA)
We process data based on:
User consent
Contractual necessity to deliver reporting services
Legitimate business operations

7. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Advertising performance snapshots: retained for reporting history
OAuth tokens: deleted when connection is removed
Client contact data: deleted when removed by organization
Organization data: permanently deleted within 7 business days of account deletion
